Since 1936, Forsyth Barr has been proudly New Zealand and staff-owned. Today, Forsyth Barr is one of New Zealand’s largest wealth management firms, has 25 offices nationwide and provides a full range of investment services including sharebroking, portfolio management, research and investment banking.

Sam Turner

Director and Responsible Officer of Forsyth Barr Asia Ltd
15 years’ experience in financial markets in NZ, London and Hong Kong. Sam has held senior roles at ANZ in New Zealand and London and has been an Asian specialist since locating to Hong Kong in 2008 with Aviate Asia.
Institutional sales trader marketing to international funds & banks in Hong Kong and the Asian region
Partner of Aviate Global Asia a boutique broker that grew from 10 staff to 50 staff in three years with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. The business was acquired by Religare Enterprises, India
Sam ran the trading business for Aviate Asia/Religare and serviced the Asian regions international Hedge Fund investor base.

Adam Edgar

Senior member of the Hong Kong office of Forsyth Barr Asia Ltd.
14 years’ experience in financial markets based in NZ and London.
Adam has held senior roles at ANZ in New Zealand and Credit Suisse in London responsible for Australian sales in Europe.
Partner of Aviate Global Asia a boutique broker that grew from 10 staff to 50 staff in three years with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. The business was acquired by Religare Enterprises, India
Adam was Head of Sales and Trading for the Aviate Asia/Religare business in the UK building and marketing to the UK Long only and Hedge fund investor base.
